Job summary

Change Grow Live in Liverpool is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to manage a mixed caseload across addiction treatment services. You will assess and engage service users to access the right interventions at the right time, supporting their recovery journey within a supportive team.

The role requires experience with substance use interventions, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with solid time management.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering interventions for service users affected by substances.

  • Understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of River Garston Team handling mixed caseload.
  • Provide support from initial contact through treatment and recovery.
  • Screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and community.
  • Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
  • Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
  • Support social reintegration and recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

We have an exciting opportunity for aRecovery Coordinator to join us at our Liverpool service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload of our Service Users, to include prescribed, alcohol and criminal justice. You will have theskills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Where: Liverpool

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

With this role you’ll be working as part of River Garston Team.

About the Role:

  • You will be part of our treatment team holding a mixed caseload of service users.
  • Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
  • Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination

What we are looking for:

  • Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances.
  • Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
  • Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
  • Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and skills, while also contributing to the growth and development of your colleagues.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41)
