Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a Year in Industry placement in Offshore Wind, starting July 2027. The role is full-time on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid model: 3 days onsite in Swindon and two days working from home.

You will gain knowledge of O&M infrastructure concepts, assist with project management tools and attend active construction sites, supported by the team. You may lead a small project and help develop delivery strategies for future wind farms.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree programme in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Project Management.
• Eligible for a year-in-industry placement through your degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to coordinate own workload and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) infrastructure concepts for future wind farms.
• Assist with project management tools and processes for infrastructure projects.
• Attend active construction sites with support from team to learn practical delivery.
• Possibly lead a small project focused on design and delivery of an O&M infrastructure project.
• Help develop strategies for infrastructure delivery at future RWE wind farms.
