Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. invites you to join a Year in Industry placement supporting offshore wind engineering management. You will gain hands-on experience across the delivery lifecycle, coordinate interfaces, and learn the safety-critical aspects of design and operation within a collaborative, global team.

The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite weekly at Swindon, London or Coventry offices, offering a real living wage and a structured development programme from day one.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in an engineering or science discipline.
• Eligibility to complete a year in industry as part of the degree program.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate workloads independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to other UK sites; travel expenses covered.
• Minimum five years’ residence in the UK due to vetting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical insight into engineering activities to develop offshore wind farm knowledge.
• Build project management experience across the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between project work packages.
• Develop understanding of safety in design and operation.
• Take ownership of defined tasks supporting design, delivery and construction.
• Apply analytical and organisational problem-solving skills to engineering challenges.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary technical optimisation across the project.
• Support effective risk management throughout engineering activities.
