Job summary

Cookley Sebright Primary School in Kidderminster is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will support pupils across the primary curriculum, initially in Year 6, helping them reach their full potential.

We value a nurturing approach, SEND experience is desirable, and a Level 3 qualification is required. You will work with experienced staff to plan engaging activities and support children’s social and emotional development during the school day.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience or interest in supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Ability to plan, adapt and deliver engaging learning activities.
• Commitment to helping all children achieve their best.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and supporting pupils in Year 6 initially.
• Plan, adapt and deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher.
• Support children with SEND and speech and language needs.
• Monitor progress and provide nurturing, patient support.
• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour.
