Job summary

Aspire People is helping a lovely Sutton Coldfield school in the West Midlands find a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 6 pupil who is currently working at Year 3/4 ability. The ideal candidate will hold Level 2/3 TA qualifications (or equivalent) and have experience supporting learners with SEND.

A calm, supportive demeanor and the ability to provide two references are essential. An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, or you will need to apply during

• Level 2/3 Health and social care / Teaching Assistant / EYFS / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting individuals with SEND
• A calming nature, with a passion for making a difference to children's learning
• Able to provide at least 2 reference contact details, covering at least 2 years
• An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service - if you do not currently have a DBS you will be required to apply for one during the registration process

A lovely school in Sutton Coldfield, local to Boldmere, is looking for a brilliant TA to work 1:1 with a child in Year 6, who is working to Year3/4 ability.

This role requires somebody with strong KS2 knowledge, and previous experience supporting children with academic progress.
