Job summary

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a friendly primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde, is seeking a Year 5 Teaching Assistant for a part-time role (3 days per week) starting after October half term. This temporary to permanent opportunity supports a smooth transition to a permanent contract.

You will assist in Year 5 learning, work closely with the class teacher to help pupils reach their full potential, provide small-group and one-to-one support, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a primary school is essential.
• Confident supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
• Builds strong relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Reliable, proactive and passionate about education.
• Seeking a long-term role with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 5 classroom.
