Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work in primary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. Roles include one-to-one support, group support, and assisting teachers with engaging lessons.

Opportunities for full-time, part-time, long-term and flexible work are available, with weekly PAYE and ongoing local consultant support. Ideal candidates have experience with children or vulnerable groups, a patient and positive attitude,

• Experience working with children or vulnerable groups.
• SEN experience desirable but not essential.

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work within a range of welcoming primary schools across Blackpool, Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lytham St Annes, and surrounding areas.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build your career in education, we have a variety of opportunities available to suit your experience and availability.

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
• Helping children achieve their academic, social and emotional goals
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

• Previous experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential
• A patient, caring and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
