Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Cover Teacher to provide consistent weekly cover in a supportive Key Stage 2 setting in the South Birmingham area, specifically Northfield in Birmingham.

You will deliver pre-set lessons, manage behaviour, create a positive learning environment and provide feedback to the class teacher, while upholding safeguarding policies and ensuring pupils stay on task.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Recent experience in a UK Primary School.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience needed as a Year 5 Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Recent experience working within a UK Primary School
