Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a motivated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Princes Risborough. You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, support pupil development, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

The role is full-time with a starting date in October half-term 2026. The salary is MPS/UPS, commensurate with experience, and you’ll work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using assessment data to inform planning and ensure all learners achieve their potential.
• Prepare pupils for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 by developing their confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Promote positive behaviour and establish high expectations in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
