Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Princes Risborough. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 and inspire pupil confidence and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring primary-aged pupils.
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
• Current enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach a Year 4 class across core and foundation subjects, ensuring lessons are accessible to all pupils.
• Develop pupils' knowledge across English, Maths, Science, and the wider curriculum.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using data to inform planning and targeted support.
• Differentiate lessons to meet needs of pupils of different abilities, including SEND.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, effort and achievement.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed.
