Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Year 4 Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll inspire pupils to develop their knowledge, confidence, and love of learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Teach a Year 4 class across core and foundation subjects, ensuring lessons are appropriately challenging and accessible to all pupils.
- Develop pupils' knowledge and skills across English, Maths, Science, and the wider curriculum.
- Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using assessment information to inform planning and provide targeted support.
- Differentiate lessons and learning activities to meet the needs of pupils of different abilities, including those with SEND.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, effort, and achievement within the classroom.
- Support pupils' social and emotional development, confidence, and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil progress and development.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4, is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring and engaging primary-aged pupils.
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
