Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting children within an educational setting.
• Understanding of ASD, communication difficulties, and additional learning needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to handling various situations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD.
• Assist with general classroom activities to promote inclusion.
• Support the pupil’s ongoing development within the school environment.
