About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 2? We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum to a Year 4 class, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Differentiate learning activities to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and other additional needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupils' progress, identifying areas for development and providing appropriate support.
  • Use assessment information to inform future planning and ensure pupils continue to make progress.
  • Provide targeted support and appropriate challenge to help pupils reach their individual potential.
  • Promote positive behaviour through consistent and effective classroom management strategies.
  • Develop positive and trusting relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of the school team to support pupil learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupils' progress, development, and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, moderation, and wider school initiatives.
  • Ensure safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
