Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a part-time, long-term position starting January 2027 in a thriving primary school in Potters Bar.

The role requires QTS with KS2 experience and a passion for delivering engaging lessons. You will plan, teach, assess, and monitor progress while fostering an inclusive environment and supporting curriculum development and subject leadership.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 4 class on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and track pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
• Lead a curriculum subject area across the school.
• Utilise allocated release time to fulfil subject leadership responsibilities.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing.

Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

• Teach a Year 4 class on:
