Flourish Education are recruiting a Year 3 Teacher for a Stroud-based primary school. This full-time role starts this month and runs until July 2027, with supportive staff and low-level SEN needs covered by the team. You will lead planning, delivery, assessment, and the broader life of the school.

The successful candidate will have QTS, Primary KS2 experience, and excellent classroom management, ensuring progress for all pupils within a positive environment.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary school teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Year 3 expectations.
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet all pupils.
• Experience supporting pupils with low-level SEN.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Year 3 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Take full class responsibility including behaviour management and pastoral care.
• Monitor pupil progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure access to learning for all pupils.
• Contribute to school reports and planning and engage in school life.
