Job summary

Justteachers Ltd., in partnership with a friendly primary school in Thetford, is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. The position begins on supply with an eye to a permanent post after a successful trial period.

The ideal candidate will inspire a love of learning, deliver high-quality lessons, and support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2 within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• QTS in the UK is required.
• Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 3.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning and assess progress.
• Two recent education-based references required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging KS2 lessons.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
• Differentiate activities for all abilities.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and leaders to support progress.
• Communicate pupil achievement and wellbeing with parents.
