Job summary

Flourish Education in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher for a part-time role with planning responsibilities. You will plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and support pupils as they progress through a crucial stage of their education.

The successful candidate will have QTS, KS2 experience, and strong classroom management, with the ability to collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with families.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage Two.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, flexible, and professional approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Taking responsibility for teaching a Year 3 class from Wednesday to Friday each week.
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure effective continuity of learning.
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress.
• Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to support pupil development.
• Attending relevant staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.
• Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing, social development, and academic progress.
