Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a 2-form entry primary school in Ealing, West London, to recruit a Year 3 Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary role starting after October half-term 2026. The post falls on the Inner London pay scale (M1-UPS3) and runs through the remainder of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will have QTS and KS2 experience, plus strong classroom management and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Primary teaching experience, ideally within KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons across English, maths and foundation subjects.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Establish clear routines and maintain positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with the Year 3 teacher to share planning and resources.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and development.
