UCM Education is seeking an experienced Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ealing from September 2026. The role involves leading a Year 3 class, delivering high-quality lessons and fostering an inclusive learning environment within the KS2 framework.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have at least 2 years of mainstream primary teaching experience, and have completed ECT induction.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Year 3 in a mainstream primary school setting.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet all pupils' needs.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Maintain high behaviour standards in a positive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues.
  • Communicate progress and wellbeing with parents/carers.
  • Contribute to whole-school activities and community life.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ealing from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who is confident leading a classroom and delivering high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The successful candidate will join a supportive school environment and play an important role in helping pupils build strong academic foundations while developing their confidence and independence.

You will be:
  • Teaching a Year 3 class within a mainstream primary school setting
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and encouraging their confidence and independence
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and the wider school team
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and participating in school activities and events
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have at least 2 years' teaching experience within a mainstream primary school
  • Have already successfully completed their Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction
  • Have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2
  • Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate a consistent commitment to pupil progress and achievement
  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the wider school community

Please note: ECTs and teachers who have not yet completed their induction will not be considered for this position.

The ideal candidate will also:
  • Be an experienced, confident, and reflective classroom practitioner
  • Have high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development
  • Be adaptable and able to respond effectively to a range of learning needs
  • Have a positive and proactive approach to teaching
  • Be committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Have full-time availability from September 2026
  • Have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available
