Distinction Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Worcester. The role involves one-to-one support for a Year 3 child with autism, Monday to Friday, starting in September and running until December with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND, especially Autism (ASD).
• Experience in a primary school or similar setting.
• Calm, patient, nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt learning/support strategies to individual needs.
• Genuine passion for helping children develop confidence and potential.
