A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Epping is seeking a compassionate, adaptable and relationship-focused Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This long-term opportunity would suit a graduate or experienced support professional looking to develop valuable hands-on experience supporting pupils with autism and complex behavioural needs.
The role is split across the school day, with mornings spent providing general classroom support within Year 3, followed by afternoons delivering dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with autism who presents with significantly challenging behaviour.
The school is committed to providing consistent, structured and nurturing support, enabling the pupil to access learning, develop positive relationships and regulate throughout the school day.
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external specialists, gaining valuable experience in autism support, behaviour management, communication strategies and personalised interventions.
