Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a motivated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Radcliffe area. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils transitioning into Key Stage 2, and develop reading, writing and mathematical skills.

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Radcliffe area of Bury.

The school is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive curriculum, with a strong focus on developing pupils' confidence as they make the transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 3 class.
• Supporting pupils with the transition into Key Stage 2 learning.
• Developing reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Differentiating lessons to accommodate different learning abilities.
• Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
• Establishing positive classroom routines and expectations.
• Promoting independent learning and problem-solving.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS.
• Have previous primary teaching experience.
• Ideally have experience teaching within Lower Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
• Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
