Qualifications

• Hold QTS.
• Have previous primary teaching experience.
• Ideally experience teaching within Lower Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a Year 3 class.
• Support pupils with the transition into Key Stage 2 learning.
• Develop reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Differentiate lessons to accommodate different learning abilities.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
• Establish positive classroom routines and expectations.
• Promote independent learning and problem-solving.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.
