Job summary

Protocol Education is partnering with a welcoming primary school in the BS31 area to recruit a caring, dependable and fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join their team from November.

You will deliver engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, supporting reading, writing and maths development while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This role offers a November start at a Good-rated Ofsted school with ongoing support from dedicated consultants.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2.
• Confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Calm, patient and nurturing, with strong classroom management skills.
• Able to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
• Support pupils as they strengthen reading fluency, writing and math understanding.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported to take risks.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to enable meaningful progress.
