Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Organised, reliable and committed to providing excellent learning experiences.
• Passionate about helping children develop academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Prepare children for the expectations and assessments associated with the end of Key Stage 1, where applicable.
• Monitor pupil progress, assess learning and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Establish a positive classroom culture that promotes good behaviour, confidence and a love of learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and inclusion.
