Location: Wolverhampton

Contract Type: Full-Time (Until July 2027)

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton from September 2026.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and promote strong academic progress. You will work collaboratively with parallel class teachers and a supportive leadership team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Creating an engaging and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Supporting the wider life of the school community
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Is passionate about raising standards and pupil achievement
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Works effectively as part of a team
