Marchant Recruitment is assisting a highly successful primary school in Ascot to recruit a Year 2 Teacher. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, fostering a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils as they progress toward Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will have QTS, experience in a primary setting (KS1/Year 2), strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management and the ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally Year 2 or Key Stage 1.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for mixed learning needs.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage-1 assessments with effective teaching and interventions.
• Establish clear expectations for behaviour and promote positive learning habits.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupil development.
• Maintain communication with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing.
