Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bromsgrove on a full-time basis, initially until December with potential to extend. You will plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils through phonics and early reading.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Taking full class teaching responsibility for a Year 2 class.
• Delivering high-quality phonics sessions to support early reading development.
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress.
• Creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Attending staff meetings and working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and academic development.
