Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Year 2 teacher to lead a Year 2 class in a full-time KS1 role starting January 2027. The position carries full class teaching responsibility, with planning, preparation, assessment and reporting required.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to high teaching standards and pupil outcomes.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff, parents and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, assess and report on pupil progress.
• Create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders to achieve strong outcomes.
• Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally throughout Year 2.
