Job summary

You will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement tailored strategies, promote independence and help pupils reach academic and social targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs across KS2.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and understanding of behaviour for learning.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across KS2 on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Delivering targeted interventions to support academic and social development.
• Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement individual support strategies.
• Helping children develop confidence, resilience and independence.
• Supporting learning across phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
