Job summary

Water Mill Primary School in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher. The role can be full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days) and invites experienced teachers to join a supportive team.

You will be responsible for the learning, progress and well-being of pupils, delivering engaging lessons and safeguarding the welfare of children. The school values inclusion, creativity and high standards.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS.
• Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
• Knowledgeable about effective classroom organisation, teaching strategies, assessment, and statutory requirements.

About this Role

Water Mill Primary School is a warm and friendly one form entry local authority primary school with a strong sense of community. We are situated on the borders of Selly Oak and Harborne, Birmingham. We are proud of the rich diversity of our community and the excellent relationships that exist between pupils, staff, Governors and parents.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Year 2 Class Teacher. This could be a full time or part time role which could be 3 or 4 days for the right candidate to join our team and contribute to our culture of high expectations, creativity, and genuine care for each learner.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers. Unfortunately, this post is not suitable for ECT's.
