Job summary

Long-term Teachers Ltd in Taunton is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a full-time role starting ASAP to cover MAT Leave. The school is a 1 form entry primary with a stimulating KS1 curriculum and strong pupil engagement.

You will lead Year 1 lessons, work with the class TA to plan interventions, and support SEND pupils. QTS is required, with January start through August 2026.

• Hold great knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

Your new role

From January, this school is looking for a full-time candidate who can work in their Year 1 class.

This is to cover Maternity Leave until August 2026.

The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced Teacher who has great knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and can use your own initiative to plan and deliver high quality lessons and to work closely with the class TA to plan interventions and assess children’s development.

You will be expected to:
