Job summary

Long-term Teachers Ltd in Bridgwater, Somerset, is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join a 2-form entry primary school on a full-time basis. You will lead a Year 6 class and bring strong KS2 curriculum knowledge to the room.

The successful candidate will be a team player, able to differentiate lessons for two year groups, deliver high-quality, engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and collaborate with other Year 6 staff. QTS is required; ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching Year 6 or as an ECT
• Strong KS2 knowledge and ability to differentiate for mixed year groups

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be working on a full-time basis within a Year 6 class.

As a 2 form entry school, you will need to be strong in communication and bring your own ideas to the team.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has great KS2 curriculum knowledge and is a great team player, always willing to support other staff members and be flexible to adapt lessons to meet the children's needs.

You will be expected to:

• Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Ability to differentiate lessons well between 2 year groups.
• Create an engaging learning environment
• Communicate well with other KS2 Teachers, planning lessons together.
• Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate.
