Impact Teachers is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to support primary pupils in achieving early literacy and numeracy goals within a vibrant London school. The role focuses on delivering an engaging curriculum, assessing progress, and promoting social development and confidence.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, PGCE and QTS or equivalent, with classroom experience. This long-term teaching post includes a daily rate of £186-£249 and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent required.
• Proven classroom experience or training is required.

Looking for a Year 1 Teacher to support students in reaching their full academic potential while fostering a sense of responsibility and self-confidence. The teacher will deliver an engaging curriculum with a focus on both academic achievement and social development. Positive collaboration with the school community is key.

Responsibilities

• The ideal Primary Teacher for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.

• The expectations for this role is a Primary Teacher who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.

• It is important to this school that the Primary Teacher Year 1 they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.

• The Primary Teacher Year 1 appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.

• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.

• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
