Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Droylsden, Tameside. This full-time, long-term maternity cover position starts in October and runs until January.

The successful candidate will teach Year 1 across KS1, plan and deliver engaging lessons, and support pupils' development in reading, writing and mathematics while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. QTS and recent primary teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

Start Date: October - January

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Droylsden, Tameside. This is a full-time, long-term maternity cover role starting in October and continuing until January.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching across the Year 1 curriculum, with a strong understanding of the transition from EYFS to KS1. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupils' early development in reading, writing and mathematics, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
