Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Horwich is seeking an experienced KS1 Year 1 teacher for maternity cover from October half term to the end of the academic year. The role is in a small, friendly school with strong community values and high expectations for pupil progress.

ECTS and fully qualified teachers are welcome to apply. Daily pay rates start at £120 for ECTs and rise to £140+ for fully qualified teachers; DBS and safeguarding training are provided.

Horwich | October Half Term – End of Academic Year

Are you an experienced KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding role in a small, friendly and nurturing school?

We are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Horwich on a maternity cover basis, starting from October half term through to the end of the academic year.

• Year 1 teaching role
• Maternity cover from October half term to the end of the academic year
• Experience teaching in KS1 is essential
• ECTs and fully qualified teachers are welcome to apply
• Supportive, friendly and nurturing school environment

• High expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil progress

• ECT: from £120 per day
• Fully Qualified Teacher: from £140 per day
• AWR will be addressed after 12 working weeks, where applicable
