Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Droylsden is seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time, long-term maternity cover from October to January.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum, support the transition from EYFS to KS1, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports early reading, writing and maths.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching within a primary school.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 1 expectations.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Excellent classroom management skills and establish clear routines and expectations.
• Support pupils' development in phonics, early reading, writing and mathematics.
