Mole Valley Farmers is seeking a hands-on Yard Team Member to support daily yard and store operations in a customer-focused role. You will handle stock, assist at the counter, and help maintain safe, welcoming external areas for members and customers.

The role is part-time, 25 hours per week on a rota, with duties including stock checks, POS support, and ensuring tidy, compliant environments in a retail setting. A forklift licence is advantageous and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse or retail environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.

Responsabilités

• Deliver excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard.
• Receive, check, and load stock accurately and efficiently.
• Support Point of Sale operations when required.
• Maintain external areas to a high standard of presentation.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock reviews.
• Participate in stocktaking and maintain stock file integrity.
• Follow health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations.

We're looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you'll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business. About The Role Contract: Temporary (3 Months) Hours: Part-time Hours of Work: 25 Hours per week, working on a rota basis As a Yard Team Member, you'll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You'll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
• Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
• Supporting Point of Sale operations when required
• Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation
• Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews
• Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity
• Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations
• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment (preferred)
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial)
• A forklift truck licence (advantageous)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
• Good IT skills and confidence using systems
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
