Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking a part-time Yard Team Member to join our store in Loggerheads. You will handle stock, assist customers at the counter and yard, and support the Stock Supervisor to maintain high presentation and efficient operations.

The role involves 7.5 hours per week with Saturday shifts, contributing to a positive shopping experience and adherence to health and safety standards. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment preferred.
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings beneficial.
• Forklift truck licence advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Good IT skills and confidence using systems.

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
• Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
• Supporting Point of Sale operations when required

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 7.5 Hours per week, working Saturdays

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
• Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
• Supporting Point of Sale operations when required
• Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation
• Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews

• Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations

About You

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment (preferred)
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial)
