Jewson, part of Stark UK, invites you to join our Wadebridge branch as a Yard Sales/ Tool Hire Adviser. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, build lasting customer relationships, and support sales initiatives across yard and shop floors.

Training provided for forklift and safety procedures are offered to support your development. We’re seeking a customer-focused team member who thrives in a busy environment, can manage stock, assist in loading and unloading, and contribute to a high

• Proven customer service experience in retail or trade
• Ability to upsell and build relationships with customers
• Willingness to learn product ranges and forklift operations

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs to provide quick, accurate help
• Ask open questions to develop customer relationships and identify future requirements
• Keep yard, counter and shop floor standards high
• Operate materials handling activities including loading/unloading and forklift (training provided)
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margins, and service levels
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

Jewson are looking for a Yard Sales/ Tool Hire Adviser to join the friendly and supportive team at our branch in Wadebridge.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Acknowledge every customer,ascertaintheirneedsand wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across theyard,counterandshopfloor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing,restockingand loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service asrequired

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)

Working Hours:

This is afull-time role working Monday-Friday07:30 –16:30 , and every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00.
