Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is recruiting a Yard Sales Adviser for the Bideford branch to deliver excellent customer service at the yard, counter and shopfloor, while building relationships with customers.

This full-time role offers training, a competitive salary and benefits including pension, life assurance and a range of employee perks; you will handle loading/unloading and operate forklift with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support sales initiatives to increase margin and service.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Acknowledge every customer,ascertaintheirneedsand wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across theyard,counterandshopfloor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing,restockingand loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service asrequired

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)

Working Hours:

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:00 - 16:30 or 07:30-1700 , and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00
