Job summary

Jewson in Dundee (DD2 3QQ) is seeking a Yard Sales Supervisor to lead day-to-day branch operations and supervise a team. The role requires engagement with customers, product knowledge, stock and delivery coordination, and safe forklift-assisted loading/unloading.

The successful candidate will support management, ensure deliveries are checked, stock is maintained, and the branch remains clean and compliant with health and safety standards. Full-time, Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
• Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
• Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

This is afull-time role working Monday-Friday7.30am – 5.00pm and every other Saturday at 8.00am – 12.00pm
