Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK’s Jewson branch in Plymouth is seeking a Yard Sales Advisor on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) with flexible hours Monday–Friday and every other Saturday 08:00-12:00. You will deliver friendly service, help customers with their needs, and maintain yard, counter and shopfloor standards.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements and support all customer needs.
• Maintain high standards across the yard, counter and shopfloor.
• Operate machinery safely and carry out offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Loading and unloading vehicles manually and with a forklift (training provided).

This is apart-time role (30 hrs a week) with flexible hours Monday-Friday and the requirement of every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00.
