Job summary

Jewson in Dundee (DD2 3QQ) seeks a Yard Sales Supervisor to lead the yard and sales team, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth daily operations. You will manage stock, deliveries, and forklift-assisted loading/unloading, while supporting management as a keyholder.

The role is full-time, with Monday-Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm and every other Saturday 8.00am – 12.00pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels in warehouse and yard with regular counts.
• Help keep the branch clean and safety a priority.
• Suggest improvements with colleagues.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Supervisor at our thriving Dundee (DD2 3QQ) branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm and every other Saturday at 8.00am – 12.00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
• Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
• Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
