Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, Royston yard position offering full-time hours Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm plus every other Saturday 08:00-12:00, with a strong focus on customer service and product knowledge.

You will engage customers, build relationships, handle yard operations, and support sales initiatives while training in forklift use and operating safely on-site. This role provides comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor based in our thriving Royston branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
