Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Chipping Ongar. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, offering a dynamic, customer-focused environment where your energy and professionalism are valued.

You will greet customers, identify needs, process orders, keep the yard and shop floor tidy, operate loading activities with safety in mind, and contribute to sales and service excellence through

Responsibilities

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30 - 17:00, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
