Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a customer-focused team member to join our branch in Kenley. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:00–16:30 with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, delivering quick, friendly service, understanding customer needs, and maintaining high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.

You will build relationships, support sales and service initiatives, develop knowledge of core products, and operate loading/unloading and forklift tasks (training provided).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
