Job summary

Normans, part of STARK Group, invites applications for a Warehouse Sales Assistant in Jersey. Join a lively yard team delivering quick and friendly service, building relationships with customers and handling loading/unloading, including forklift training.

You’ll develop product knowledge, maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor, and support sales initiatives while working Monday to Friday 7am–4pm with some Saturdays. Competitive benefits apply.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm and some Saturdays 7.30am – 12pm

What You’ll Be Doing

As a part of our yard team, you will be:

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
