Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK is hiring a Yard Sales Advisor for our Busby branch. You’ll greet customers, identify needs, and deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining yard and shop floor standards.

You'll participate in loading and unloading, and support sales goals. Training for forklift use is provided, with a full-time schedule Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor in our thriving Busby (G76 8SE) branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 8:00am – 12:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
