Job summary

Jewson in East Kilbride (G74 5BT) is recruiting a Yard Sales Advisor. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with every other Saturday 8am–12pm.

You will welcome customers, assess needs, and provide quick, efficient service while maintaining yard, counter and shop floor standards. You’ll learn core and specialist product lines, support sales initiatives, operate machinery safely, and participate in loading/unloading and forklift tasks with training provided.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor in our thriving East Kilbride (G74 5BT) branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm, and every other Saturday from 8am - 12pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
