Job summary

Manheim Auction Services, part of Cox Automotive, is recruiting an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day yard operations at our Gloucester site. You’ll help move vehicles safely, prepare them for auction, and maintain orderly display and documentation throughout the process.

The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety standards, efficient vehicle movement, and teamwork to ensure a smooth auction experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Be compliant with health and safety regulations and site guidelines.
• Move vehicles efficiently to support smooth operations.
• Have a basic understanding of HSE legislation and procedures.
• Operate required technology and hardware to support key processes.
• Confidently drive a wide range of vehicles with various ignition systems.

Responsibilities

• Organise and present vehicles for auction in line with standards.
• Safely drive vehicles and assist with collection and delivery tasks.
• Arrange and manoeuvre vehicles to maintain a clean yard layout.
• Ensure vehicles have proper pre-sale documentation.
• Follow site rules and safety protocols at all times.
• Support the valet team by locating and moving vehicles as needed.
• Contribute to vehicle imaging and pre-inspection activities.
